The original file, one click.

This page takes one public Instagram link and returns the reel behind it: the video file as Instagram serves it, plus the details that go with the post — posting time, caption, mentions, music, and any links. Paste the link, press fetch, and the file is ready to watch or save to your device. No account, no app to install.

It works on public reels, video posts and photo posts. Private accounts return nothing, because there is no public file to fetch. Files are not stored on our servers: each request fetches from Instagram and hands the file to you, then keeps nothing. The lookup is made by our servers, not by an Instagram account of yours.

What a saved set looks like

Original files, named by the time they were posted, in one zip. No watermark, no re-encoding.

What you can save

The reel file itself

The video file Instagram serves for that post, at full length, handed to your browser. Save it straight to your device.

Caption, music and details

Posting time, caption text, mentions, tagged accounts, music title and any links that come with the post.

Photo and carousel posts

Single photo posts and carousels open the same way. Each image is delivered at the resolution Instagram serves.

Why people use StoryKeep

Link in, file out

You only need the post link. There is no login step, no browser extension and no software to install.

Nothing is stored

Files are fetched from Instagram when you request them and handed to you. We keep no copy and no history of what you looked at.

Public posts only

The tool reads public reels, videos and photos. Private accounts return nothing, and we do not ask for access to them.

Free limit and Pro pass

Ten lookups a day are free without an account, at the standard quality Instagram serves for previews. The Pro pass is paid once — $14.9 for 30 days or $6.9 for 7 days — and adds original-quality files, a fair-use limit of 70 lookups a day, and zip saves.

Questions

Can the account owner see that I looked at the post?

The view is made by our servers, not by an Instagram account of yours. Instagram shows the owner nothing about it, and we store nothing about your lookup.

Do private accounts work?

No. Private accounts return nothing, because there is no public file to fetch. The tool only reads posts that anyone can open in a browser.

Are reels and videos supported?

Yes. Reels and regular video posts both work, and so do single photo posts and carousels. Paste the link of the post you want.

What quality is the saved file?

You get the file Instagram serves for that post. Without a Pro pass that is the standard preview quality; the Pro pass returns the original quality file.

What is the free limit?

Ten lookups a day without an account, reset daily. The Pro pass removes that daily count and raises the fair-use limit to 70 lookups a day.

Do I need to log in or install anything?

No. There is no account, no login and no extension. A public link is the only input the tool needs.

Can I save several posts at once?

With the Pro pass you can use save all or save selected and get the files as one zip. Free lookups handle one post at a time.

Is StoryKeep part of Instagram?

No. StoryKeep is an independent set of tools and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. Only public content is handled.
